Educational Qualification for West Bengal Police Constable Recruitment 2022 –

Constable – Candidates Must Have Passed Madhyamik Examination from The West Bengal Board Of Secondary Education Or Its Equivalent.

Language:- The Applicant Must Be Able To Speak, Read And Write The Bengali Language. However, This Provision Will Not Be Applicable To The Persons Who Are Permanent Residents Of Hill Sub-Divisions Of Darjeeling And Kalimpong Districts. (Ii) For The Applicant Of Hill Sub-Divisions Of Darjeeling And Kalimpong Districts, The Provisions Laid Down In The West Bengal Official Language Act, 1961 Will Be Applicable.

Physical Standard Test (PET) For Constable :

Constable (Male) – Candidates of all categories (except Gorkhas, Garhwalies, Rajbanshis and Scheduled Tribes) :- ( Height – 167 Cm ) ( Weight – 57 Cm ) (Chest – 78-83 Cm. With Expansion – 5 cms)

Constable (Male) – Gorkhas, Garhwalies, Rajbanshis and Scheduled Tribes :- ( Height – 160 Cm ) ( Weight – 53 Cm ) (Chest – 76-81 Cm. With Expansion – 5 cms)

Lady Constable – Candidates of all categories (except Gorkhas, Garhwalies, Rajbanshis and Scheduled Tribes) :- ( Height – 160 Cm ) ( Weight – 49 Cm )

Lady Constable – Gorkhas, Garhwalies, Rajbanshis and Scheduled Tribes :- ( Height – 152 Cm ) ( Weight – 45 Cm )

Physical Standard Test (PET) For Constable :

Constable (Male) – Event :- 1600 (sixteen hundred) meters distance run.
Timing – 6 (six) minutes 30 (thirty) seconds.

Lady Constable – Event :- 800 (eight hundred) meters run.
Timing – 4 (four) minutes 30 (thirty) seconds.
