WB TET Exam Pattern 2014 Questions & Syllabus of Study
The WB TET (West Bengal Teacher Eligibility Test) is conducted for the recruitment of the eligible candidates in the lower primary and upper primary levels in the government and other state schools. The exam is organized every year by the Department of School Education, West Bengal in the months of March. The exam is the additional eligibility required for the getting appointed as the teachers under the primary (Class I to V) and upper primary (Class VI to XII) respectively.
The West Bengal TET Exam gives the qualified candidates to get appointed as the School Teachers for upper primary and lower primary levels.

Exam Pattern for WB TET 2014:
There are two papers conducted for the Teacher Eligibility Exam. The first paper is compulsory for those candidates who wish to work in the lower primary levels and the second paper is compulsory for all those candidates who wish to work in the upper primary levels. The paper contains questions of objective type and based on multiple choice questions. The candidates will be awarded 1 mark for each correct answer and no deduction for the incorrect answers.

Total Number of Questions: 150
Total Marks: 150
Duration: 1 Hour 30 Minutes
Qualifying Marks: Minimum 50% marks for all the candidates
