WB JECA Exam Pattern 2014 Pattern of Questions and Qualifying Criteria

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board conducts the West Bengal JECA exam for admission of all the eligible candidates in the Master of Computer Applications course in different private and government colleges/ universities / institutes of the West Bengal state. The exam is held every year in the months of June/ July at different centres throughout the state of West Bengal. Those candidates who are preparing for the concerned exam can go through the details of the exam including the paper pattern and the syllabus of study for the concerned exam.

WB JECA Exam 2014 Paper Pattern:

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination is an objective type question paper having multiple choice questions on the following main topics:

1. Reasoning

2. Quantitative Aptitude

3. Data Interpretation

4. Problem Solving Questions and

5. Discrete Quantitative Analysis respectively

There will be two parts in the paper. The first part is –Aptitude Test and the second part being Mathematics respectively. Both the parts carry 100 marks each.

Duration of Exam:

Part I: One Hour

Part II: Mathematics: One and a Half Hours

Total Time: two and a half hours

Centres of Exam:

Barddhaman, Howrah, Medinipur, Durgapur, Kolkata, Krishnanagar, and Silliguri

Eligibility for Exam:

The candidates should be having a under graduation degree in Mathematics /any other subject of three year duration of any recognized colleges or universities of West Bengal/ any other State. The candidates must have studied Mathematics in Intermediate (10+2) for appearing in the exam. All the candidates who are still giving their final exams for the qualifying degree should be able to produce their degrees by the time of the admission formalities gets completed.
