About VNIT Nagpur

Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology Nagpur (VNIT) was established in year 1960. The institute has been ranked among the best fifteen engineering colleges in India. Undergraduate programs are offered in Architecture and the 8 Engineering disciplines. The Engineering programs are usually of 4-year duration, while Architecture has a 5-year program. Eligibility Criteria

For M.Sc Physics: B.Sc degree or Bachelor degree for 03 years in Physics stream with Mathematics as the main subject

For M.Sc Chemistry: B.Sc degree or Bachelor degree for 03 years in Chemistry

For M.Sc Mathematics: B.Sc degree or Bachelor degree for 03 years in Mathematics

For Physics: 20 seats

UR: 10, OBC: 05, SC: 03 and ST: 02

For Chemistry: 20 seats

UR: 10, OBC: 06, SC: 03 and ST: 01

For Mathematics: 20 seats

UR: 10, OBC: 05, SC: 03, ST: 01 and PWD: 01

Application Fee

Applicants those who are willing to take admission in M.Sc programme have to submit application fee for the amount mentioned below:

(a) UR/OBC: Rs.300/-

(b) SC/ST: Rs.150/-

Payment will be done via State Bank I- Collect, using Debit Card, Credit Card and Net Banking

Starting date for applying: 15.04.2016

Closing date for applying: 20.05.2016

Availability of admit card: 15.04.2016 to 28.05.2016

Scheduled date for written exam: 29.05.2016

Announcement of merit list of written exam: 10.06.2016

Semester starting date: 25.07.2016
