VMU AICEEE Exam Pattern 2014 Details of Paper Pattern and Syllabus for Entrance Exam

The VMU (Vinayaka Missions University) conducts its admissions through an entrance exam also known as the All India Common Entrance Exam, usually held in the months of May/ June, for all the eligible candidates. The entrance exam provides admissions to the candidates in the following course programmes of the university- Medicine, Homeopathy, Dentistry, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Pharmacy, Allied Health Sciences, Engineering & Technology, Architecture (based on NATA), Management, Computer Applications, Education, Arts and Sciences respectively. Paper Pattern for VMU AICEEE 2014:

The exam for the Vinayaka Missions University Courses is an objective type test paper containing MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions). It will be a three hour paper having questions on the following subjects-

Physics

Chemistry

Mathematics

Biology/ Botany (for Pharmacy and Medical Courses)

Syllabus for VMU AICEEE 2014:

The candidates will be required to answer questions on the above subjects as per the syllabus of the Class 12^th/ Class 11^th for all the streams. The candidates can refer the books of the Intermediate level or Class 11^th level for preparing for the concerned exam.

Paper Pattern for UG Courses- Bachelor of Engineering/ Bachelor of Technology Course

There will be three main sections each having questions of 180 marks in the manner as given below:

Section I: Physical Sciences: Physics (30 Questions); Chemistry (30 Questions) where three marks will be awarded for each correct answer

Section 2: Biology: 60 Questions on Biology of three marks each

Section 3: Mathematics: 45 Questions of four marks each respectively

There will be no negative marking in the exam.

Paper Pattern for PG Courses- Master of Technology/ Master of Engineering Courses

Total Marks Allotted: 300

The paper will contain the following sections to be answered in the given time i.e. 2 hours for this purpose.

Engineering Mathematics (25 Questions)

Basic Engineering and Sciences (25 Questions) and

Qualifying Branches (50 Questions)

The candidates will be awarded three marks for each correct answer attempted by them whereas there will be a deduction of 1 mark for each wrong attempts made by them

Paper Pattern for Master of Business Administration Course:

Total Marks Allotted: 400

There will be questions on the following main sections to be answered in two hours. Analysis of Business Situation, Reading Comprehension, Data Sufficiency, English Grammar and Usage and Quantitative Aptitude each has 20 questions to be attempted. The candidates will be given four marks for each correct answer marked by them and one mark to be deducted for each wrong answer attempted by the candidates.
