VMU AICEE Exam 2014 Details of Application & Dates of Entrance Exam

The VMU (Vinayaka Missions University) will be announcing the admissions for the present session i.e. 2014-15. The university announces admissions for its various courses through an entrance exam also called as the All India Common Entrance Exam (AICEE) held usually in the months of May/ June for all the candidates. The candidates in order to participate in the concerned entrance exam must be Intermediate/ Class 12^th in the following subjects- Physics, Biology, Chemistry and English respectively. The minimum marks in the qualifying degree exam should be at least 50% marks (40% Marks for Other Backward Classes/ Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes categories) for being eligible in this exam.

Details of Application for VMU AICEE 2014:

The candidates can obtain the from the offices of the university on payment of the required application fees in the form of Demand Draft of Rs1100 drawn in favor of the VMU Chennai payable at Chennai or Salem.

The candidates can also download their online application forms from the website of the university at vinayakamission.com. The cost of application forms for online registration is Rs1000. The completed application forms along with all the required documents should be sent at the following address:

Eligibility for Vinayaka Missions University:

The candidates in order to participate in the All India Common Entrance Exam of the Vinayaka Missions University should be having the educational qualifications as required for this purpose.

i)The candidates should be Intermediate /Class 12^th passed in the Science Stream in the following subjects- Physics/ Chemistry/ Biology/ Botany/ Zoology and English with a minimum of 50% marks (40% marks for the SC/ST/OBC candidates) in all the subjects as stated above.

Age Requirements:

The applicants for the Vinayaka Missions University All India Common Entrance Exam should be at least of 17 years as on 31^st December in the year of admission.

Medicine, Homeopathy, Dentistry, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Pharmacy, Allied Health Sciences, Engineering & Technology, Architecture (based on NATA), Management, Computer Applications, Education, Arts and Sciences respectively

 Paper Pattern for VMU AICEE 2014:

The All India Common Entrance Exam will be an objective type paper having Multiple Choice Questions on the following: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology (for Pharmacy and Medical Courses). The syllabus of the Class 12^th /11^th will be used for asking questions in all the concerned streams.

Duration of Exam: three hours

Short listing Criteria:

The candidates will be selected on the basis of the merit and cut-off as required to qualify in the All India Common Entrance Exam. The candidates who qualify in the exam on the basis of the merit as required for this purpose will be called for the Counseling held at the university campus.
