VJTI Cut Off Marks 2016 Details of Admission & Selection Process

The Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI) has announced the cut off marks list for the admission of eligible applicants in the different courses offered by it. The Institute is directly affiliated by the University of Mumbai as an autonomous college offering admissions in the under graduate, post graduate and diploma courses in the field of Engineering & Technology respectively.

The admissions to the concerned courses shall be done on the basis of the performance of the applicants in the MHT CET (Maharashtra Health Science and Technical Common Entrance Test) conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education Maharashtra. The selected candidates will be allotted seats on the basis of a Centralized Admission Process to Autonomous Institutes (CAPAI).

Criteria for Deciding Cut off Marks of VJTI:

1. The admission cut off marks for the VJTI shall depend on the GATE Scores as well as merits obtained in the academic qualifying degree

2. The cut off marks of the institutes decided for the previous year entrance examination

3. The difficulty level of the paper in the concerned entrance exam

4. Merit gone in the concerned entrance exam

5. Number of applicants who have qualified for the admissions

6. Number of seats in a particular course of the Institute
