VIT Admission 2014

The Vellore Institute of Technology welcomes applicants for admittance to M.Tech and MCA Programmes for the upcoming batch- 2014. The admissions will be made through a computer based test, VIT MEE 2014 (VIT Master’s Entrance Exam) to be held on 7^th and 8^th June, 2014. The details of this entrance test is also available on its official gateway: vit.ac.in . Consequently all engrossed candidates must read the following details carefully and apply online within the closing date of 15^th May, 2014.

Selection Criteria:

Keen aspirants will have to appear in a computer based test, VIT MEE 2014 (VIT Master’s Entrance Exam) for admittance to the MCA or M.Tech programmes. This test is scheduled on 7^th and 8^th June, 2014 at its centres.  The selection of applicants will take place on the grounds of their attainment in this Entrance Test only. Shortlisted candidates thereon will be invited for the counseling round. Applicants, who fail to sit for these Entrance exams, will not be admissible in any case.

How to Apply:

Candidates who accomplish all the respective requirements of their preferred programme are supposed to fill the VIT online Admission form with the help of its authorized web portal- vit.ac.in . Applicants, at first need to enter all their basic details and register themselves on VIT by receiving a system generated login id and password. Now login with your ID and password and proceed for the online application procedure. After filling the e-application form correctly, upload a scanned copy of your signature and recent passport size photo. Submit this page and proceed for the remittance of application fee. All applicants are supposed to make a payment of INR.950/- through Internet Banking, Debit/Credit card or Demand Draft from any Nationalized Bank drawn in favour of the ‘VIT University’, payable at Vellore.  in precise way and attach the rest needed copies of credentials along with it. On successful completion of transaction, acknowledgement receipt with the transaction number will be generated. Take the printout of the same along with the application form and send it to the below mentioned address accompanied with all necessary copies of documents within 15^th May, 2014:
