The Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) is one of the largest technological universities of India having affiliations to about 201 colleges under it. The university has been named after a notable scholar and scientist of India- “Sir M Visvesvaraya”. The candidates can enroll themselves in the different courses including Under Graduate, Post Graduate, Master of Sciences (Engineering) and PhD respectively. The university examinations are organized each year in the months of June/July and November/ December for all the candidates enrolled. The applicants have the facility of downloading their admit cards online from the website “Examination” section.

The applicants are invited for admissions in the university through a common entrance exam also called as PGCET/UGCET. The applicants participating in the exam are required to download their admit cards online, if the university does not send it offline by post.
