The Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University of Kanpur invites numerous candidates for admittance to various Certificate, Postgraduate and Undergraduate programmes every year through a Combined Pre Medical Test (CPMT) conducted by the Government of Uttar Pradesh. This admission notice will be published on its official web portal i.e. cpmt2013.org shortly.  Courses Offered:

BAMS – Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery

BHMS – Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery

MBBS – Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery

BDS – Bachelor of Dental Surgery

BUMS – Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery

Admission Procedure:

The admission of suitable candidates will take place through a U.P. Combined Pre Medical Test (UP CPMT) entirely. Applicants, qualified enough, will thereafter be shortlisted on the base of their attainment in this Entrance Exam. Candidates, who do not qualify this Entrance Exam, will not be entitled for admission in any case.

Details of Eligibility:

All candidates should have at least cleared their Intermediate examination for admission to the Undergraduate Courses with biology group (PCB) subject under a recognized board of education with satisfactory scores in aggregate.

 Application Process:

Candidates seeking admission to Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University must get themselves a Information Handbook and the prescribed Application form by paying Rs.1280/- (Rs.680 for SC & ST) in cash at any Central Bank of India Branch. After obtaining the prescribed application form (OMR Sheet), read all the details carefully, fill it precisely in block letters without making any error and forward it to the given address through Speed or Registered post within the due dates accompanied with all other necessary transcripts to this address:-

 Age Bar:

Aspirants should have completed the minimum age of 17 years if seeking to apply for any of the above mentioned programmes. Those who do not follow this age standard will not be eligible for admissions.

About:

The UPCPMT examination is conducted by the Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj University, Kanpur, for admittance in various UG courses in different Government and approved Medical/ Dental/ Homepathic/ Ayurvedic/ Unani colleges of Uttar Pradesh. These medical colleges have always been accepting the score of UPCPMT as a means of eligibility. Reputed colleges like ‘King George Medical College also comes under this exam. Uttar Pradesh being one of the largest states caters millions of medical aspirants every year. Numbers of seats are very limited and competition is high. Directorate General of Medical Education and Training is the governing authority for this examination.
