UPCMET Admission 2014-15

The U.P. Unaided Medical Colleges Welfare Association invites aspirants for admittance to various MBBS courses in the member colleges through a U.P. Combined Medical Entrance Test (UPCMET). This admission notice is also published on its authorized web portal i.e. upumcwa.org. This UPCMET this year is scheduled on 31^st May, 2014. Therefore, all interested aspirants are advised to go through the details given here and apply within 15^th May, 2014.

 Eligibility Details:

Candidates must have cleared their Intermediate examination (10+2 level) of UP Board / ISC / CBSE or its equivalent from any recognized Board / University with English as a compulsory subject with scores not less than 50% (40% in case of SC/ST/OBC) marks on average in Physics, Chemistry & Biology (including practical examination) taken together.

Age Limit:

All applicants must have completed the minimum age of 17 years (as on 31^st December, 2014) if seeking to apply for the MBBS programme. Those who do not follow this age bar will not be eligible for admissions.

How to Apply:

Students, who satisfy the prescribed pre requisites for admission in the MBBS programmes, can download Admission forms or apply via online mode through its authorized web portal- upumcwa.org. However, aspirants can also obtain the same from the Cash Counters of the member colleges on cash payment of Rs.1000/-. If downloaded from authorized portal, applicants must fill this form precisely and send it along with a Demand Draft of Rs.1000/- in favour of “UPUMCWA”, payable at “Bareilly (U.P.)” and other important copies of documents at this address within the due dates:-

Instructions for Online Application:

– Log on to upumcwa.org and click on the link for “UPCMET- 2014”.

– Read the information brochure carefully and finally proceed for online application by clicking on “Application form (Online Submission)”.

– Enter your payment details as on mentioned on the DD and proceed forward.

– Enter other details as required in the e-application form and upload a scanned copy of your latest passport size photo, signature and left thumb impression.

– Finally submit this form after cross checking all details once again.

 Selection Methodology:

The selection of eligible applicants will take place through the U.P. Combined Medical Entrance Test (UPCMET) entirely. Selected aspirants will thereon be shortlisted on the base of their performance in this Entrance Exam. Students, who do not qualify this Entrance Exam, will not be entitled for admission in any case.

11^th November, 2014- Opening date for obtaining application forms.

15^th May, 2014- Closing date for submission of applications.

31^st May, 2014- Date scheduled for UPCMET.
