UPCAT Admission 2014-15

The Association of Private Medical & Dental Colleges of UP has invited applications for admissions to BDS Programme for the new academic batch 2014-15. This notification is also available on the official gateway i.e. upcatdental.net. Applicants will be selected through an entrance test to be held on 1^st June, 2014. Therefore, engrossed individuals are advised to go through the below mentioned particulars carefully and apply for admission within 20^th May, 2014 i.e. the last dates for submitting the application forms.

Conditions for Eligibility:

Enthusiastic aspirants must have passed Intermediate or equivalent (10+2 pattern) satisfyingly under a renowned board of education with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology as compulsory subjects with a minimum of 50% in the qualifying examination.

Limitation of Age:

Candidates should have accomplished the minimum age of 17 years if looking forward to apply for the BDS course. Those who do not fulfill this age condition will not be entitled for the admissions.

Method of Admission:

The admission of deserving candidates will be made through an Entrance Exam conducted by the Association of Private Medical & Dental Colleges. However, after the declaration of the UPCAT Dental Result, a merit list for central counseling according to which the aspirants who have been called for counseling will be awarded seats will be announced.

Application Procedure:

Keen aspirants may obtain the UPCAT Dental BDS- 2014 application form from any of the participating colleges on a payment of Rs.1000/- in cash from 1^st April, 2014 onwards. Candidates are supposed to fill up this form accurately and to be enclosed with all necessary credentials as mentioned in the information brochure. All these must be put together in an envelope and sent to the below mentioned address before the last date of 20^th May, 2014 through ordinary post:-

Important Dates:

1^st April, 2014- Opening dates for submitting applications.

20^th May, 2014- Closing dates for submitting applications.
