Method of Selection:

The assortment of candidates for admittance will rest entirely on their merit in different relevant Admission Tests like OPENMAT, CAT, MAT, MAT-RTOU etc held by the University. Deserving applicants will be shortlisted for further rounds of selection on the grounds of their performance in any of these Entrance test. Candidates, who fail to appear or clear this Entrance Test, will not be admissible in the University under any circumstances.

Process of Applying:

Keen students who are willing to apply for admissions and accomplish the respective eligibility criteria of their desired programmes can download the prescribed Application form from its authorized site- uprtou.ac.in . Once obtained, fill this form appropriately with relevant and authentic details in your own handwriting neatly. Finally send the duly filled application form accompanied with other essential copies of documents supporting your details mentioned in the form and a Demand Draft worth INR. 500/- which has to be deposited through bank demand draft from any nationalized favoring the “Finance Officer, UPRTOU”, payable at Allahabad to through speed or registered post to the given address within the announced last dates:-

Academic Conditions:

PhD Programmes- Aspirants must be a Post graduate or any equivalent degree holder with 50% (5% relaxation to reserved candidates) aggregate marks or more from a recognized University/ Institute.

Postgraduate Programmes- Aspirants must be in possession of their Graduation Degree in the relevant discipline with 50% marks for the general category candidates and 45% marks for the SC/ST candidates from a recognized University or equivalent

Undergraduate Programmes- Aspirants must have passed Intermediate (10+2) from a recognized board of education with at least 50% of aggregate marks. Also, they must have their relevant major subject as a subject in 10+2.
