UAJET Exam Pattern 2014 Details of Examination Scheme and Qualifying Marks
The UAJET stands for the Uttaranchal Joint Entrance Test. The test is conducted in the online modes by the Kumaun University for taking admissions in the post graduate management and computer courses offered by the universities /institutes in Uttaranchal State. Name of Exam: Uttaranchal Joint Entrance Test
Conducting Authority: Kumaun University Nainital
Courses of Admission: MBA, MCA and other Allied Courses
Eligibility for Exam:
The applicants should be graduate in any discipline including the following: Arts, Science, Commerce, Computer etc. can apply in the MBA Course of the university. The applicants in order to apply in the MCA course should have studied Mathematics in Class 12th with a minimum of 50% marks scored in the qualifying exam. Applicants who are in their final years of the qualifying exam can also apply provided they are able to produce their certificates at the time of final admissions.
The applicants should be at least 20 years of age to appear and qualify in the UAJET Exam.
Examination Scheme for UAJET:
The Uttaranchal Joint Entrance Test shall comprise of objective type questions on the following main sections in the exam. These include the following:
Section 1- Quantitative Aptitude
Section 2- English Language
Section 3- Current Affairs
Section 4- Statistics/ Mathematics
Duration of Exam: 180 Minutes

Syllabus of Study:
The candidates should prepare as per the following topics of study as given here below:
Section 1- Quants
Algebra, Arithmetic, Geometry, Numerical Aptitude and Calculations and Interpretation of Graphs, Charts and Tables respectively
Section 2- English language
Sentence Completion, Grammar based questions, Comprehension of Passage, Synonym & Antonym, Relationship between words and phrases respectively
Section 3- Current Affairs
Industry, Culture, Economy, Trade and Sports etc
Section 4- Statistics
Dispersion, Mean, Median and Mode, Standard Deviation and Theory of Probability
Section 5- Mathematics (for MCA candidates)
Vectors, Probability, Modern Algebra, Trigonometry, Dynamics, Co-ordinate Geometry and Calculus respectively
The candidates should appear in the GD/ PI for the final selections in the concerned course of the university. In case of tally in marks, the applicants with higher age will be given preference.
