SNAP Exam Pattern 2014 for Admissions to MBA Course
The Symbiosis University Pune conducts the common entrance exam for all the eligible candidates in order to invite admissions to its two year regular course in Masters of Business Administration. The candidates in order to appear in the concerned exam must go through the detailed exam pattern and marking criteria from the information as given here below. The Symbiosis National Aptitude Test is the national level common entrance test conducted in the computer modes only.

Name of Exam: Symbiosis National Aptitude Test
Conducting University: Symbiosis University of Management, Pune
Eligibility for Exam:
The candidates should be at least Graduation passed in either of the disciplines –BA/ B.Com/ B.Sc/ BBA/ B.Tech etc from any recognized university/ colleges of India for this purpose.
Exam Pattern:
The Symbiosis National Aptitude Test will be having objective type multiple choice questions on the following main sections:
1. General English
2. Quantitative & Data Interpretation
3. Data Sufficiency
4. General Awareness (General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Business Scenario)
5. Analytical & Logical Reasoning etc
Total Number of Questions: 150 questions
Distribution of questions:
General English: 40 Questions (40 Marks)
Quantitative & Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency: 40 Questions (40 Marks)
General Awareness (GK, Current Affairs & Business Scenario): 40 Questions (40 Marks)
Analytical & Logical Reasoning: 30 Questions (60 Marks)
Total Marks Allotted: 180
Duration of Exam: 2 Hours/ 120 Minutes
Marking Criteria:
The candidates will be awarded one mark for each correct answer marked by them; the section for Analytical & LR will only give two marks each for every right answer marked by them. While there will be a deduction of one-fourth marks for every wrong answers marked by them.

Mode of Examination:
The candidates will be required to appear and qualify in a computer based test. The candidates should have enough knowledge to participate in the concerned exam. Also, the questions raised in the exam will be only in the English Language.
