About SMITE

SMITE 10.6 Bonus Update Patch Notes include various changes and adjustments to enhance gameplay and address player feedback. One significant modification is the improvement made to the Soul Surge mechanic, ensuring that the minions spawned from Soul Surges are now easier to defeat. The Spirit Health Scaling of Soul Surge has been reduced from 100 to 70.

In terms of items, several relic adjustments have been implemented. The damage debuff from Sundering Spear, Greater Sundering Spear, and Sundering Blast no longer stacks. Additionally, the damage dealt has been decreased from 15% of Current Health to 10%. Horrific Emblem, Greater Horrific Emblem, and Emblem of Increasing Peril have all seen a decrease in the Damage Dealt Debuff from 15% to 10%. Moreover, the Debuff Amplification per stack for Emblem of Increasing Peril has been reduced from 10% to 5%.


The Tank Bonus Damage items

Have also undergone adjustments. Flameforged Hammer now offers decreased Bonus Damage on its passive, changing from 5+10% of your protections to 5+7% of your protections. The DoT duration after leaving the area has been decreased from 3 seconds to 2 seconds. Manticore’s Spikes have seen a decrease in Bonus Damage, from 4% or 8% of the owner’s max HP to 3% or 6%.

In terms of mage items, certain Tier 2 items have been fixed, and targeted buffs have been introduced to improve mage itemization. Obsidian Shard now provides an increased Bonus Penetration on its passive, going from 10% to 20%. On the other hand, Book of Souls (Tier 2) has had its Magical Power reduced from 65 to 55, while Book of Thoth and Rejuvenating Heart have seen an increase in Magical Power, from 50 to 60. Talon Trinket (Tier 2) has had its Magical Power decreased from 65 to 55, while Typhon’s Fang has seen an increase, going from 60 to 65. Enchanted Ring (Tier 2) has had its Magical Power reduced from 55 to 45, and Warlock’s Staff has received a description fix, now clarifying that it provides an additional 25HP when evolved.


Several gods

Gods have also undergone balance adjustments. Bakasura’s “Eat Minion” ability now offers reduced active cooldown reduction, going from 2 seconds to 1.5 seconds. Fenrir’s “Seething Howl” has seen a decrease in Physical Power, from 20/35/50/65/80 to 15/25/35/45/55. Discordia’s “Contest of Gods” has had its Physical Power per level reduced from 2 to 1.5, and Magical Power per level decreased from 3 to 2. Guan Yu’s “Conviction” ability now has an increased cooldown, going from 13 seconds to 14 seconds. Taolu Assault, another ability of Guan Yu, has seen a decrease in base damage per hit, from 20/30/40/50/60 to 17/27/37/47/57. Cavalry Charge, Guan Yu’s ultimate, now offers a decreased stun duration, changing from 1.5 seconds at all ranks to 1.1/1.2/1.3/1.4/1.5 seconds. Lastly, Martichoras’ “Death from Above” has had its Protection Debuff reduced from 4% per stack to 3% per stack.
