 Eligibility Conditions:

M.Sc. (Human Anatomy)- Candidate must have passed a 3 years’ B.Sc. course in any branch of Life Sciences with minimum 55% aggregate marks (50% in case of reserved applicants) in life Sciences subjects in B.Sc.

MBBS– Applicants must have cleared their HSC/ Intermediate exam or the Indian School Certificate Examination, or any equivalent examination from the science stream comprising Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as an elective subject.

BMLT– Applicants must have cleared HSC/ Intermediate exam from science stream (Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Biotechnology / Maths) with minimum 50% for general (5% relaxation for ST, SC & OBC)

 Application Methodology:

Candidates seeking admittance to any of the aforesaid courses are suggested to adhere to the following steps for a successful application:-

1.) Log on to smims.smu.edu.in and click on the link for “Download Admission Form”.

2.) Candidates will see their Admission Form on their computer monitor from where they have to take a print out of the same.

3.) Once downloaded, fill up this form precisely with all genuine information in your own handwriting. All fields marked mandatory must be filled compulsorily.

4.) Remit the applicable registration fee charged by the university by means of a Demand Draft favoring Sikkim Manipal University, payable at Gangtok.

5.) Finally, send the duly filled form to the prescribed University address along with the Pay in slip/ DD and copies of other required documents to this address:

Selection Method:

The selection of applicants for admittance will completely rest on their merit in the Entrance Examination held by the SMU at different centres across India. Qualified candidates will be selected on the basis of their presentation in this Entrance examination. Candidates, who won’t be able to clear this Entrance examination, shall be restricted for admissions in the University.
