Shri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute has been founded and established by Sri Ramachandra Educational and Health Trust in the year 1985 for providing medical education, research and health care through the following: MBBS, MD/ MS, DM, M.Ch and other super speciality courses. The college was awarded the status of a deemed to be university in the year 2006 by UGC (University Grants Commission) for this purpose. The institute has about 9 constituent colleges/ faculties running 100 courses in health care sciences to aid in the process of university education.

Admit Cards for Shri Ramachandra University Entrance Examinations 2014:
The university invites admissions in the different courses through the common entrance exam held in May/ June months each year. The applicants are dispatched admit card offline by university for appearing in the entrance exam. The admit cards can be accessed offline by all the candidates latest by 25th May of year of application. If the applicants fail to get their admit card offline may receive it one day before the exam date from the university Registrar’s Office. The admit card contains all the details of examination and necessary instructions required for appearing in the concerned entrance exam.
The candidates must check that their admit card have the following important details in it including applicants name, address of examination centre and space for passport size photographs. The candidates must paste their recent photograph in the appropriate places on the admit card in case that section is left blank.
The admit card having any incorrect values /information must be rectified immediately by applicants through reporting to the concerned issuing authorities for this purpose.
