• Starting Date – 03-Feb-2018

• Last Date – 31-Mar-2018

• Last Date of Payment (Online) Fee – 31-Mar-2018

• Last Date of Payment (Post Office)  Fee – 27–Mar-2018

• RRB ALP Exam Date – April/May 2018

APPLICATION FEE

• General/OBC– Rs.500/-

• Female All Category– Rs.250/-

• SC/ST/PH / EX SM– Rs.250/-

• Correction Charge – Rs.100/-

• The fee can be paid online  through credit card/ debit card or net banking or offline through Bank Challan .

IMPORTANT NOTE : FEE REFUND PROCESS

For General & OBC Candidates :  Out of this fee of ₹ 500, an amount of ₹ 400 shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges, on appearing in the CBT Exam.

For  Female All Category / SC/ST/PH / EX SM – Fee of ₹ 250 shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges, on appearing in the CBT Exam.

(For Fee Refund Process – Candidates have to provide details of beneficiary account viz. Account holder name, Account Number and IFSC code in the online application)

Educational Qualification-

Assistant Loco Pilot Electrical/Mechanical-

i) Matric/SSLC/Class 10^th pass with ITI/ Act Apprentice Course in  

Armature & Coil Winder / Electrician / Electronics Mechanic / Fitter/ Heat Engine/ Instrument Mechanic/ Machinist/ Mechanic Diesel/ Mechanic Motor Vehicle/ Millwright Maintenance Mechanic/ mechanic Radio & TV / AC& Ref. Mehcanic/ Tractor Mechanic. Turner/ Wireman  recognized by SCVT / NCVT

 OR

ii) 3 years Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/ Electronics/ Automobile Engineering or combination of various streams of these Engineering disciplines from a recognized university

OR

iii) Degree of Engineering in specified discipline

[Candidates belonging to any other qualification apart from these will not be considered eligible for ALP post]

Technician Grade III-  Matric / SSLC / Class 10^th  pass with ITI / Course Completed Act Apprentice in specified trade recognized by SCVT / NCVT

Technician Grade III Signal , Telecommunication-

i) Matric / SSLC / Class 10^th pass with ITI/ Course Completed Act Apprentice in specified trade recognized by SCVT / NCVT

OR

ii) 10+2 pass with Physics and Math

(for trade wise details, check the notification)

[Candidates belonging to any other qualification apart from these will not be considered eligible for Technician Grade III post]

Important Information-

i) Candidates awaiting final results of final exam of prescribed qualification should not apply

ii) Candidates with Degree / Diplome in Engineering in lieu of ITI or Course Completed Act Apprentice are not eligible for Technician post

iii) Candidates with Graduate Act Apprentice in lieu of ITI or Course Completed Act Apprentice are not eligible

Exam Steps / Phase Wise

1) Apply online

2) First stage of RRB ( All candidates will appear for stage 1 )

3) After 1st stage , RRB will ask for preference of posts

4) Second stage will start ( 15 times of updated vacancies )

5) Third stage ( Aptitude Test ) for ALP post candidates ( 8 times of ALP vacancies)

6) Candidates need to submit the vision certificate

7) Document verification

8) Medical Test

Pay Scale- Rs.19900/- per month

Documents Required

Scanned photo ( 15kb to 40 kb ) with name & date printed on it

Scanned SC/ST certificate ( 50 kb to 100 kb )
