Duration of Examination – 90 minutes

Scheme of Marking:

01 Marks will be awarded for right answer

1/3^rd marks will  be deducted for wrong answer

No marks will be deducted or awarded for un-attempted question

CBT Exam Syllabus

General Awareness (50 marks):- Questions will be aimed at testing the candidate’s general awareness of the environment around him and its application to society; to test knowledge of current events and such matters of every day observation and experiences as may be expected of any educated person. The test will also include questions relating to Indian History, Art & Culture, Geography, Economics, General Polity, Indian Constitution, Sports ,General Science etc

Arithmetic (35 marks):- Questions on Number system, whole numbers, decimals and fractions and relationship between numbers, fundamental arithmetical operations, percentage, ratio & proportion, averages, interest, profit & loss, discount, use of tables& graphs, Mensuration, time and distance, ratio & proportion etc

General Intelligence and Reasoning (35 marks):- Questions on analogies, similarities and differences, spatial visualizations, spatial orientation, problem solving analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discriminating observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning, verbal and figure classification, arithmetic number series, non verbal series, coding and decoding, statement conclusion, syllologistic reasoning
