Age Criteria

# The minimum age of the candidates applying for this examination is 18 years as on 1st day in the month of January in the year 2013;

# The maximum age of the candidates applying for this examination is 33 years as on 1st day in the month of January in the year 2013;

Academic Qualifications

# The applicants must have passed 10th standard/ equivalent examination/ITI from any recognized institution for applying for the jobs offered by RRB;

Application Fees

# Application Fees to be paid by General Category and Other Backward Classes Category Candidates- Rupees Forty Only;

# Application Fees to be paid by Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe, Sikhs, Christians, Buddhists, Muslims, and Zoroastrians Category Candidates- Exempted from Application Fees;

Process of Selection of the Candidates

# Candidates who are eligible for the jobs are sent a call letter for appearing for a qualifying written test;

# On the basis of the results of the written exam, a merit list is prepared;

# After clearing written test, the applicants who appear in the merit test are required to appear for Physical Skill Test and Psychological Test as the job demands;

# The results of the examination are put up on the notice board of RRB;

# The results can also be checked out on the official website of the board;

# Through registered post, the intimation of the result is passed on to the successful candidates;
