Academic Pre- Requisite:

The very first criterion of admission in the University is that the applied candidates should have command on language. The University takes admissions of the candidates who possess the qualifying degree as it is required by the programme applied for. The allied candidate should be having the requisite language as one of a subject in their prior qualification.

Methodology of Application:

The prospectus cum application form can easily be obtained by paying up the amount of Rs. 300/- in the form of DD issued favouring “The Registrar, Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University” payable at “Hydrabad” at any nationalized Bank from the Director, Centre for Distance Education, Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University, Public Gardens, Hyderabad- 500 004. Application form can be downloaded from the University website – teluguuniversity.ac.in or can also be requested to the University to send the form on contender’s address and the same should be submitted at the University along with DD and other related documents attached.

Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University is among the very few language universities in India. The University was established as Telugu University on 2^nd of December 1985 by the Act of Legislation (Act No. 27 of 1985) having the head office of the University being situated at Hyderabad and campuses at Sri Sailam & Rajahmundry. Afterwards, in 1989 the “Siddhendra Kalakshetram” located at Kuchipudi amalgamated with the University. The School of Folk & Tribal Lore was set up at Warangal during 1994.
