The Periyar Maniammai Institute of Science & Technology is popularly called as Periyar Maniammai University. Initially, started as AICTE approved college the college upgraded as deemed to be university as on 17^th August 2007 by UGC and Ministry of HRD (Human Resource Development). The university offers a number of courses in different disciplines including the following: Architecture, Aerospace Engineering, Biotechnology, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, and Management Studies respectively. The entrance examination for the university admissions is conducted online in May month of every academic year. The entrance exam for PMU Admissions is popularly referred to as PMUET. The main courses offered through the concerned entrance exam are –B.Arch/ B.Tech/ M.Tech/ M.Arch/ MBA/ MCA/ M.Sc/ MA/ MSW/ BCA/ B.Com/ BA/ B.Ed/ B.Sc (Ed.)/ M.Phil and PhD Programmes respectively. b) Go to the “Admissions” page of website from the top menu bar at website home page.

e) Download and print your admit cards as it gets opened on your screens online.
