PAM CAT Exam Pattern 2014 Scheme of Paper & Marking Criteria
The Punjab Admissions to Management and Computer Application courses through the Common Aptitude Test is held for all the candidates every year in the months of May/June respectively. The candidates preparing for the concerned exam may go through the pattern of exam and the type of questions that are asked in the concerned exam for making their preparation in line with the required exam preparation. Given below is the exam pattern of the PAM CAT Entrance Exam for all the appearing candidates to go through.

Exam Pattern for PAM CAT:
The exam is basically conducted in two parts containing questions on the below given topics.
Part I: there are three papers in this part of exam
Paper I: Mental & Numerical Ability -50 Questions (50 Marks)
LR (Logical Reasoning), Quantitative Comparisons, Analytical Reasoning, Arithmetic Formations, Graphical Analysis, Series Formation, Profit & Loss, Simple Interest, Ratio & Proportion, Averages
Paper II: GK (General Knowledge & Current Affairs) – 50 Questions (50 Marks)
International and National Events, Current Affairs in Science & Technology, Political Affairs, Sports, History & Geography of India, Famous Personalities and other Facts.
Paper III: General English- 50 Questions (50 Marks)
Reading Comprehensions, Spelling & Grammar, Prepositions & Articles, Idioms & Phrases, Synonyms & Antonyms, Verb, Adjectives, Adverbs, Word Substitution.
Part II: Paper IV [b] (Is optional for MCA candidates)- 50 Questions (50 Marks)
a) Mathematics
b) Computer Sciences
Duration of exam: Two and a half Hours
Time of Exam: 09:30 to 12:00 am

For Masters of Business Administration Course:
Paper IV [A] Business Aptitude- 50 Questions (50 Marks)
Duration of Exam: 50 Minutes
Time of Exam: 01:10 to 02:00 pm
The question papers will be based on objective type and multiple choice questions of 1 mark each. The candidates will be provided OMR Answer Sheets for answering the questions. The reporting time for all the applicants is at least 15 minutes before the examination.
