NSTSE Exam Pattern 2014 Details of Paper Pattern and Marking Criteria

The National Science Talent Search Examination (NSTSE) is the diagnostic test conducted by the Unified Council of India. The test is basically held to examine the conceptual knowledge of the candidates in a particular subject for which he/ she appears in the exam. The entrance exam is conducted for the school children from Class II to Class XII in the following manner as given here below.

Exam Pattern for NSTSE 2014:

There will be different papers for different classes which will be held in the objective modes. The candidates will be given marks for only right attempts made by them and no deduction will be made for the incorrect attempts made by the candidates:

Class II: 50 Questions

Total Marks Allotted: 50

Class III: 75 Questions

Total Marks Allotted: 75

Class IV- XII: 100 Questions

Total Marks Allotted: 100

Duration of Exam: 90 Minutes for all the Classes

Syllabus of NSTSE 2014:

The syllabus of the National Science Talent Search Examination will be as per the CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) with more than 85% of the questions raised from it. The National Science Talent Search Examination question papers will be helpful for all the ICSE/ ISC Board students and different other state Boards for Matriculation syllabus.
