About North Maharashtra University

The North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon was established in year 1990. The University started its academic and administrative functioning from the academic year 1991-92. The University was awarded with FOUR STAR grade in the year 2001, B grade with 2.88 CGPA in the year 2009 and A Grade with 3.11 CGPA in 3rd Cycle re-accreditation in year 2015 by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), Bangalore. There are 220 affiliated colleges and 04 University recognized Research Institutes/Centers under the jurisdiction of University. Out of these, 01 college is recognized as College of Excellence, 05 colleges have been identified as College with Potential for Excellence and 01 college has been granted autonomous status by the UGC, New Delhi Board and Government of Maharashtra.

Eligibility Criteria:

Aspirants must have passed 12^th standard from a reputed Board for UG courses and for PG courses must have passed Graduation in relevant stream from a recognized University or Institution.

Application Fee:

Rs.300/- is the application fee that every applying candidate has to submit against their application form.

Payment will be done via demand draft drawn in favour of the Finance and Accounts Officer, North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon

Steps for applying:

Candidates have to visit the official portal i.e. apps.nmu.ac.in/ugcet/instructions.aspx for submitting their application via online mode > Press the button “Apply Online” at the bottom of the page > All the details must be filled correctly and upload scan copies of passport size photo and signature. > Lastly take a print out of online generated application form for forwarding it on below mentioned address along with attachment of demand draft.
