The National Law School of India University (NLSIU) is the law university located in Bangalore. The university was brought into existence by a special Act passed for this purpose passed by the Government of Karnataka. The admissions to the university are done on the basis of the Common Law Entrance Test (CLAT) conducted for this purpose throughout the country.
