The National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE) is the Government of India set up institute providing admission to the students eligible in the field of Industrial Engineering. The NITIE was established in the year 1963 by the concerted efforts of the UNDP (United Nations Development Programme) and ILO (International Labor Organization) respectively.

The institute provides admissions in the following main courses: PGDIM (Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Management), PGDISEM (Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Safety and Environmental Management) and PGDIE (Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Engineering) respectively.

Details of NITIE Results –

The applicants are admitted in the following courses on the basis of entrance exams organized separately for different courses. The admission to the PGDIM and PGDISEM Courses is done on the basis of their performance in the Common Admission Test (CAT) held every year in the months of October/ November respectively. The applicants can find the details of admission and results online for the institute courses at the Admissions Section of website.

The applicants who qualify the selection test in the concerned cut off marks and merit are called for the further rounds of selection i.e. GD/ PI scheduled to be conducted in the March/ April months respectively. The list of all the qualified applicants is published online at the website of NITIE i.e. nitie.edu.
