NIT Rourkela Admission Form 2014-15

The National Institute of Technology, Rourkela has invited applications from keen and qualified aspirants who are willing to take admission in the MBA Programmes for the new academic session 2014 at its Institute. Admission System:

Candidates fulfilling the basic criteria of eligibility would be invited for a GD and Viva-Voce. Department might set a higher merit in academic career as the least qualifying criteria for shortlisting candidates for interview, if their strength remains rationally high. However, final selection will be based on Group Discussion, Personal Interview conducted by the Institute, academic career and score of reputed national or international tests for admission to Business Schools.

Details of Eligibility:

MBA:  B. Tech degree from any branch of engineering with not less than 60% aggregate marks or 6.5 CGPA.

For Post Graduate Courses: Candidates should have completed their Graduation in the related discipline or field from any recognized college or University.

For PhD Courses: Candidates should have completed their Post graduation in the related discipline or field from any recognized college or University.

For Undergraduate Courses: Candidates should have cleared their Higher Secondary or 10+2 Exam with the related stream from a recognized board of education.

Application Process:

Keen applicants who accomplish all the academic requirements of the respective programmes are requested to apply via online mode through the Institute’s authorized web portal- nitrkl.ac.in. Candidates, firstly are supposed to register themselves and pay the Application fee via Internet banking. You are supposed to remit a fee amounting o Rs.500 for applying. Once you are done with it, you can fill the application form online and take a print out of hard copy of this system generated application form. However, applicants are not supposed to send these hard copies and other documents to NIT Rourkela.
