NIMCET Application Form 2014 Admissions for MCA Course
The NIT (National Institute of Technology) conducts the admissions to its MCA Course through the NIMCET Exam held every year in the month of May for all the eligible candidates. The candidates who wish to apply for the MCA Programme in the National Institute of Technologies have to appear in the NIMCET 2014 and qualify the same with the minimum percentage of marks as required for this purpose. The NIMCET 2014 provides admissions to the following NITs:
Agartala, Allahabad, Bhopal, Calicut, Durgapur, Jamshedpur, Kurukshetra, Raipur, Surathkal, Tiruchirapalli and Warangal respectively

NIMCET 2014 Application Details:
Online Application Forms can be filled through the official website of the NIT Agartala. The candidates will have to pay Rs.1800 (Rs.900 for SC/ST) as the registration fee payable through the State Bank of India Branches. The candidates should read the detailed instructions before applying online at the website of NIT i.e. nimcet2014.nita.ac.in. Note the steps to apply online for the NIMCET 2014 Exam.
Step I: Log on to the website of the NIT Agartala at nimcet2014.nita.ac.in
Step II: Log in through the id and password for accessing the online registration form for NIMCET
Step III: Fill the online application form as generated through the log in and registration as stated above
Step IV: The candidates will be provided a unique Application Number after the successful filling of the online application forms
Step V: The candidates are required to send the print out of the online filled application forms to the address as stated below before the date of closing applications.

Eligibility for NIMCET 2014:
The candidates should be having degree in either of the following: B.Sc. /B.Sc (Hons.)/ BCA /BIT /BE /B.Tech or anything equivalent thereto with a minimum of 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA on a 10 point scale (55% marks or 6.0 CGPA on a 10 point scale for SC/ST Candidates)
The candidates who are in the final year of the course can also appear in the entrance exam provided their results are out before the date of closing admissions/ counseling.
