The National Aptitude Test (NAT) is a national level Common Entrance Test conducted for the admission of the candidates in different professional, management and allied courses under both under graduate as well as post graduate levels. The exam offers admission in the following main courses namely: BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration); BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications); MBA (Master of Business Administration) and MCA (Master of Computer Applications) respectively. Paper Pattern for NAT:
For Under Graduate Courses:
There will be objective type questions on the following main topics:
Section I: English Comprehension & Language: 30 Questions
Section II: General Knowledge: 40 Questions
Section III: Numerical Ability: 30 Questions
Section IV: Non Verbal & Verbal Reasoning: 30 Questions and
Section V: Socio Economic Environment: 40 Questions
Total Number of Questions: 170
Total Marks Allotted: 170
Total Time Allotted: 150 Minutes/ two hours and 30 minutes
The candidates will have to attempt all the questions for qualifying in the exam. For each question the students will be evaluated in the form of 1 mark.
For Post Graduate Courses:
There will be objective type question paper having questions on the following main topics:
Section I: English Language Comprehension: 40 Questions
Section II: Socio-Economic Environment: 40 Questions
Section III: Quantitative Skills: 40 Questions
Section IV: Intelligence & Critical Reasoning: 40 Questions and
Section V: Data Analysis: 40 Questions
Total Number of Questions: 200
Total Marks Allotted: 200
Total Time Allotted: 150 Minutes/ two hours and 30 minutes

Eligibility for NAT:
The candidates in order to appear in the NAT UG Exam should be Intermediate/ Class 12th passed from any recognized Boards of India. The candidates in order to appear in the NAT PG Exam should be having an under graduate degree from any UGC recognized universities/ colleges of India.
