MPSC Examination Pattern 2016

MPSC stands for Maharashtra Public Service Commission. The organization conducts various examination for the recruitment of the most deserving, eligible and qualified candidates in State Services and all the other administrative services of the Government of Maharashtra. One of the various examinations in MPSC is “Maharashtra Forest Service Examination”. All the interested and qualified applicants belonging to Maharashtra can apply for it and others who have applied for it can go through the details of eligibility and the pattern examination so as to prepare for their respective examination.

Maharashtra Public Service Commission is conducting the examination under the name Maharashtra Forest Service Examination to recruit applicants against the position of Group A & B (Prelims) & (Main) Examination. The pattern of examination is given below:

Pattern of Examination (MPSC 2016) –

The examination will be conducted in three procedure which is –

1) Pre Examination
2) Main Examination and
3) Personal Interview

Overall total marks of the complete examination is 550. Distribution of the marks is –

1) Pre Examination – 100 Marks
2) Main Examination – 400 Marks
3) Personal Interview – 50 Marks

(I) Exam Pattern for Prelim Examination –

There will be three subjects – Marathi Language, English Language and General Studies
All the questions will be objective and multiple choice

(II) Exam Pattern for Main Examination –

This will include two papers via –
Paper I – General Studies
Paper II – General Science & Nature Conservation
All the questions will be objective and multiple choice.

(III) Interview Procedure –

The after qualifying the Pre and Main examination, the applicants will be called for the process of Interview in the organization.

After qualifying the last round “Interview Process”, the applicants will be finally selected and will be called to join in the organization.
