Name of Exam: MP DMAT Entrance Exam
Conducting Authority: Madhya Pradesh Dental and Medical Admission Test
Courses of Admission: MBBS/ BDS/ BPT/ B.Sc Nursing/ Other Allied Paramedical Courses
Eligibility for Exam:
The applicants should be Intermediate/ Class 12th passed from CBSE Board or any other equivalent Board with a minimum of 50% marks obtained in the following subjects- Physics, Chemistry and Biology respectively. The qualifying degrees should be from the colleges/ universities recognized by the Government of India/ Dental Council of India/ Medical Council of India for this purpose.
Qualifying Criteria & Structure of Examination:
The Madhya Pradesh Dental and Medical Admission Test shall consist of a common paper having objective type and multiple choice based questions on the following main subjects:
1) Physics
2) Chemistry
3) Biology (Botany/ Zoology)
Total Number of Questions: 200
Section Wise Distribution of Questions:
Physics- 50; Biology- 100 (Botany: 50; Zoology: 50); Chemistry- 50
The MP DMAT Exam shall have objective type questions to be solved in the given time frame. The medium of questions will be both English and Hindi respectively.
There will be no negative marking in the entrance exam hence, the applicants can attempt as number of questions in the exam as they know to score more.

Dentistry: Histology & Pathology; Oral Medicine; Periodontics; Oral Medicine; Oral & Dental Anatomy; Orthodontics; Diagnosis & Radiology and Community Dentistry; Conservative & Restorative Dentistry; Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery

Modes of Examination:
The exam shall be conducted in the paper pencil modes only. The applicants must use only Blue/ Black Ball Point Pens for answering the questions in the exam.
