The Mizoram University is a central university established by the passing of an Act of Parliament in the year 2000. The university officially started its functioning from 2nd July 200. The university offers admission to the eligible candidates in different courses under the main campus, 27 affiliated colleges and one constituent college (Pachhunga University College).
