MICAT 2014 Entrance Exam Dates and Admission Criteria
The Mudra Institute of Communications Ahmadabad conducts the entrance exam every year for admitting candidates in different management programmes made available at the institute for all the candidates wishing to apply in the courses at MICA. The entrance exam for the institute is also known as the MICAT /Mudra Institute of Communications Ahmadabad Test. The candidates will be considered for the concerned entrance exam provided that they fulfill all the eligibility as required for this purpose.

MICAT 2014 Exam Eligibility:
The Mudra Institute of Communication Admission Test is open for all the candidates who have appeared and qualified in any of the following management entrance tests- CAT/ XAT/ MAT/ ATMA/ GMAT/ CMAT etc.
Selection /Admission Criteria:
The candidates who have qualified in the MICAT entrance will be called for the GE/ PI respectively held subsequently after the written exam for all the eligible candidates. The candidates having good merit in the entrance exam will be given preference.
Scheme of Exam:
The MICAT 2014 will be an objective type question paper having questions on the following main topics:
1. Verbal Reasoning
2. Quantitative Ability and DI (Data Interpretation)
3. Psychometric Section
4. LR (Logical Reasoning)
5. Creative Writing and
6. General Awareness and Current Affairs respectively
Date of Exam:
The MICAT 2014 is likely to be held in the first half of March for all the applicants
Centre of Exam:
Ahmadabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Jaipur and Jammu.

1. FPM (Fellow Programme in Management)
2. PGDM (Post Graduate Diploma in Management)
3. CCC (Crafting Creative Communications)
4. PGCP in Advertising Management and PR (Public Relations)
5. PGCP in Market Research and Data Analysis
6. PGCPRM (Post Graduate Certificate Programme in Retail Management)
Admission Criteria for MICA:
The candidates in order to avail admissions in the PGDM (Post Graduate Diploma in Management) course must be having a Bachelors Degree in any stream with a minimum of 50% marks can appear in the entrance exam as conducted by the MICA.
There will be basically two rounds of selection- which includes Written Test/ MICAT in the first round and GE (Group Exercise) and PI (Personal Interview) in the second round of selection.
The final selections of the candidates will be done on the basis of the performance of the candidates in both the rounds of examinations.
Those candidates who have appeared in the CAT/ XAT/ GMAT exam will be given preference of 20% on their scores in the quantitative and verbal sections of the concerned exam.
