Paper Pattern for MH CET 2014:
The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test is conducted in objective modes for the following four sections:
1. Mathematics
2. Physics
3. Chemistry and
4. Biology respectively
Scheme of Marking:
Paper I: Physics & Chemistry: 50 Marks
Paper II: Biology (Botany & Zoology): 50 Marks
Paper III: Mathematics: 100 Marks
Total Marks Allotted: 200 Marks
Total Questions: 180
Distribution of Questions:
Physics: 45
Chemistry: 45
Biology: 90
Duration of Exam: three hours
Date of Exam: 8th May 2014
Mode of Answering Questions:
The candidates should attempt all the questions in the exam who wish to take admissions under the Bachelor of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry. The candidates should use the Blue/ Black Ball Point Pens for marking their answers in the OMR Sheets as provided for this purpose.
Marking Scheme:
The candidates will be given four marks for each correct answer marked by them in the entrance exam.

Atoms Molecules and Nuclei, Radiation, Wave Theory of Light, Gravitation, Electro statistics, Elasticity, Kinetic Theory of Gases, Stationary Waves, Simple Harmonic Motion, Semi Conductors and Magnetic Effect of Electric Current
Acids and Esters, Third Row Elements, Ethers, Ionic Equilibrium, Electrochemistry, Chemical Thermodynamics and Energetic, Aldehydes and Colloids, Organic Hydroxy Compounds, Nature of Chemical Compound, Silicon
Paper III: Mathematics:
Circle, Probability, Matrices, Limits, Parabola, Differential Equations, Ellipse, Pairs of Lines, Circle, Definite Integrals, Limits, Derivatives, Linear Programming, Continuity and Pairs of Lines, and Vectors respectively.
