The Mahatma Gandhi Mission’s Dental College & Hospital (MGDCH) conducts a JET (Joint Entrance Test) every year to provide admissions in the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) course of the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences. The entrance exam is conducted every year in the last week of May for all the eligible applicants. Name of Exam: MGDCH Joint Entrance Exam
Conducting Authority: Mahatma Gandhi Missions Dental College and Hospital
Courses of Admission: BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery)
Eligibility for Exam:
The applicants for the Mahatma Gandhi Mission’s Dental College and Hospital Joint Entrance Test should have completed their Intermediate /Class 12th passed with a minimum of 50% marks in order to apply in the concerned entrance exam. The candidates should have studied the following subjects in their qualifying degree – Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English respectively. The qualifying age for all the eligible applicants should be at least 17 years brought into effect from the date of taking admissions.
Pattern /Criteria of Examination:
There shall be two papers in the Mahatma Gandhi Missions Dental College and Hospital Joint Entrance Test. The questions will be of objective type having multiple choice based answers to be solved in the given time frame.
Paper 1- Physical Sciences
Paper 2- Biology
The candidates will be short listed on the basis of their performances in the written exam and the eligibility conditions as specified for this purpose. The candidates qualifying in the written exam will be called to attend the next round of examinations which includes the GD (Group Discussion) and PI (Personal Interview) respectively.

The candidates should prepare as per the Higher Secondary syllabus of the concerned Board in which the students have studied. The main topic for studying in each subject is given below for the applicants to go through.
Paper 1- Physical Sciences
Electrons and Photons; Heat; Light; Gravitation; Current Electricity; Electricity; Electrostatics; Units and Dimensions of Measurement; Periodic Motion; Electromagnetic Induction; Wave Motion etc
Paper 2- Biology
Origin of Life; Mutation; Genetics; Cell Differentiation; Organic Evolution; Ecosystems; Respiratory Systems; Animal Physiology; Human Evolution; Translocation; Animal Tissues; Transpirations; Genetics etc
