MBA CET Entrance Exam 2014 Details of Paper Pattern and Selection Process
The CET (Common Entrance Test) is held separately for different state universities inviting admissions in different UG as well as PG courses in Management Programmes. The candidates belonging to any particular state can appear in this exam to avail admissions in different state universities and management colleges affiliated to it. Given below are the details of the Common Entrance Test of Maharashtra State which is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education Maharashtra for admitting students in different management courses of the Maharashtra University Colleges and Universities.

Maharashtra CET 2014 Details:
Name of the Exam: MAH-MBA/MMS- CET (Maharashtra Common Entrance Test)
Conducting Authority: Directorate of Technical Education Maharashtra
Course of Admission: MBA/MMS
Eligibility for Exam:
All the applicants who wish to appear in the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test must possess the minimum eligibility as needed for this purpose. This includes the following: Degree in Under Graduation from any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST candidates) secured in the concerned qualifying exam.
Paper Pattern:
There will be three main sections in the paper asked from the main subjects studied at the qualifying examination levels. This includes the following:
I Section: Mathematics
II Section: Physics
III Section: Chemistry
Marking Scheme:
There shall be deduction of a minimum of one –fourth marks for each wrong attempts made by the candidates. Candidates will be given no marks for the questions left un- attempted by them.
Application Procedure for MHT CET 2014:
The candidates should apply online by logging on to the official website of the Directorate of Technical Education Maharashtra at dtemaharashtra.gov.in. The candidates can register online in the manner as specified by payment of the requisite amount of application fee in either of the following modes: online modes through Net Banking or offline modes by forwarding the Pay Order of the desired amount in favor of the “Director, Technical Education, Maharashtra State” payable at Mumbai from any nationalized Banks of India.
