Manipal PMT Exam Pattern 2014 for Admissions to Medical Courses
The Manipal University is one of the leading distance universities of India providing higher education through distance modes in a number of disciplines. The admissions to these courses are done on the basis of a common entrance exam, commonly called as Manipal Pre Medical Test. The Manipal Pre Medical Test is an All India Level Entrance Exam conducted for the eligible candidates qualifying in the concerned exam. The candidates who wish to appear in the concerned exam should be at least intermediate/ Class 12th passed from any recognized Boards of India in the Science Group of subjects.

Paper Pattern for Manipal PMT:
The paper for Manipal University under the Pre Medical Test consists of 200 questions of objective type with multiple choices for answers. The candidates will have to choose the option which is the most correct one. The paper will have questions on the following subjects:
Chemistry
Biology and
Physics respectively
Duration of Exam: two and a half hours
Qualifying Criteria:
The candidates should be qualifying in all the sections of the paper. Final selections of the candidates will be based entirely upon the merit obtained in the final results. The candidates with good scores in the entrance exam as well as the qualifying exam will be given preference for admissions.
Structure of Question Paper:
Biology: 80 Questions
Physics: 60 Questions
Chemistry: 60 Questions
English and General Aptitude: 40 Questions
Total Number of Questions: 240
Total Time Allotted: 2 Hours and 30 Minutes/ 150 Minutes

Syllabus for Manipal PMT:
The Manipal Pre Medical Test is conducted on the basis of Intermediate level of questions. The candidates can refer to their books of the concerned Board under which they were studying.
The Manipal Pre Medical Test is generally organized in the first week of June for all the candidates.
