Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University was established in the year 1975 as an associated University. The status of the University was upgraded to affiliating cum residential university in the year 1985 when 04 teaching Departments were being set up in the University campus. In the year 1987, 03 more Departments were added up in the category, in August 1997 “Rohilkhand” University was renamed as “Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University”. The MJP Rohilkhand University has taken up an overall viewpoint of expansion plan & thereby customized University status by adding the new Faculties of Technology & Engineering, Applied Sciences, Management, Allied Sciences and Education etc.  Currently, The University has more than 215 affiliated colleges. Educational qualification:

All the aspirants need to have passed in Higher Secondary exam under the pattern of 10+2 or its equivalent with securing not less than the average percentage of 50% in aggregate.
