The Maharashtra Animal & Fishery Sciences University (MAFSU) has been set up in the year 2000 by the passing of Maharashtra State Act No. 1998 as on 3^rd December 2000. The university has been formed by the merging of four agricultural universities in the state. Applicants who wish to enroll in the different programmes available under following major disciplines must qualify the entrance exam as conducted for this purpose: Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Dairy Technology, Fishery Sciences and Extension Education & Training respectively.
