MAFSU Admission Form 2014- 15

The MAFSU (Maharashtra Animal & Fishery Sciences University) was officially informed on 17^th of Nov, 2000 & was made under the MAH.XVII of 1998 (State Act No. 1998) on 3^rd of Dec, 2000 with its head office at Nagpur city. The MAFSU has been engraved out of the 04 Agricultural Universities of the state by relocating 05 Veterinary Colleges, 01 PG Institute of Veterinary and Animal Sciences & 01 Dairy Technology College. Though the MAFSU is in its early years, the ingredient colleges were rather old. The University is inviting applications for admission from eligible students to fill plenty of the vacant seats at the campuses in various programmes whose details are as follows:

Educational Need: Class- 12^th from Science stream with NEET

M.V.Sc (Master of Veterinary Science) –

No. of Seats: 216

Duration of Course: 02 yrs

Educational Need: B.V.Sc. and A.H.

Doctorate Degree in Veterinary Science

Dairy Technology Courses:

B.Tech. (D.T.) (Bachelor of Dairy Technology)

No. of Seats:  72

Duration of Course: 04 yrs

Educational Need: Class- 12^th Qualified with PCME

M.Tech. (Dairying) (Master of Dairy Technology)

Admission Criteria:

Candidates will be admitted in the applied programmes / courses only in that case when they full fill the academic requirement & other grounds of eligibility. Later they have to go through the written test conducted by the university, who so ever qualify that test, that particular applicants will be called for Counseling / Group Discussion / Personal Interview Round. After passing all the rounds of selection, the competitor will finally be informed about their admission.

Application Methodology:

All the admission seeker at Maharashtra Animal & Fishery Sciences University have to apply online. Details regarding the procedure are being specified there. Once the online application is submitted by the candidate, the system will generate Slip which needs to be forwarded along with the requite testimonial’s attested copy to the address of the University (see below).
