Exam Pattern:
The candidates should appear and qualify in the objective type online test having multiple choice based questions on the following:
Reasoning Ability: 30 Questions (90 Marks)
Numerical Ability: 30 Questions (90 Marks)
General Knowledge, Current Affairs: 30 Questions (60 Marks)
Computer Knowledge: 30 Questions (60 Marks)
English Language with special emphasis on Grammar, Vocabulary and Comprehension: 40 Questions (100 Marks)
Total Number of Questions: 160
Total Marks Allotted: 400
Qualifying Criteria:
The candidates will be penalized in the form of one-fourth marks deducted for every wrong answers attempted by them. The questions that remain un-attempted by the candidates shall not be awarded any marks. The candidates should obtain the minimum qualifying marks in the entrance exam as specified by LIC for this purpose. Mere passing in the exam will not be the eligibility to selection in the concerned post.

Eligibility for LIC AAO:
The candidates should be having a Bachelors/ Masters degree with a minimum of 55% marks of any recognized universities/ colleges in India.

Mathematics: Number Theory; HCF & LCM; Fractions & Decimals; Number System; Ratio & Proportion; Square Roots and Cube Roots; Chain Rule etc
Reasoning: Mental Ability and Aptitude
English: Language based questions; Vocabulary; Grammar and Comprehension
General Knowledge and Current Affairs: History; Geography; Environmental Studies; General Science; Culture and Current Affairs
Basic Knowledge on Computers including types of computer; software hardware and internet etc.
