Educational Requirements:

B.Sc. Anaesthesia Technology / B.Sc. Operation Theatre Technology | Pass in two years P.U.C. Examination or equivalent recognized by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, with any combination, but should have studied any of the two subjects, among Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Botany, Zoology, Biochemistry, Microbiology. |
B.Sc. Medical Imaging Technology / Radiotherapy | Pre-University Examination conducted by department of Pre-University Education or any recognized State Board with not less than 40% aggregate marks in the compulsory subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics. |
B.Sc. Medical Laboratory Technology | Pass in two years P.U.C. Examination or equivalent recognized by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as Principal subjects of study. |
Selection Criteria:
The selection of all applicants seeking admittance into KMIO is made entirely on the grounds of their performance in a Personal Interview/ Viva-Voce held by the selection Committee of the Institute. Therefore, it’s a must for all aspirants to be present on the day of this interview along with all their original certificates.

Suitable and eager candidates, who fulfill the prescribed academic requirements of their preferred programme, are suggested to download their respective application formats from its official website- kidwai.kar.nic.in . Separate applications are supposed to be sent for more than one programme. Students are suggested to go through the official advertisement carefully before sending their application to the Institute. Fill the prescribed application form appropriately and send it to the below mentioned address accompanied with the announced application fee worth Rs.450/- by means of a Demand Draft drawn in favor of the “Director, Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology”, payable at Bangalore-560029, or from any scheduled Bank for Rs. 400/- if to be collected in Person within the announced deadline:-

About:
Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology was established on 26th June 1973 with bed strength of 50. The Institute became independent on 8, January 1980. The Government of India has accorded the status of a Regional Cancer Centre on 1, November 1980 to this Institute, thus became one of the 11 Regional Cancer Centres in the country. The Indian Council of Medical Research has recognized this referral Institution as a research association.
