Kerala Entrance Exam Pattern 2014 for Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Courses
The Kerala Engineering Agriculture Medical Exam (KEAM) is conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Government of Kerala for admitting eligible candidates in the different engineering, agriculture and medical courses as made available by the professional colleges of the Kerala state. The exam is conducted every year by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations for admitting candidates to the different professional degree courses as given here below.

Eligibility for Exam:
The candidates should have passed Higher Secondary/ Class 10th exam with a minimum of 50% marks in the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology put together for admitting students in the different medical courses.
Exam Pattern:
There will be two papers having multiple choice based questions on the following:
Paper I: Physics & Chemistry
Paper II: Mathematics
Duration of Exam: Two and a half hours
Total Number of Questions: 240 (120 for each paper)
Time Allotted to each paper: 150 minutes
Marking Criteria:
The candidates will be getting four marks for each correct question attempted by them while there will be a deduction of one mark each for all the incorrect questions attempted by them. The candidates who will not attempt any question will be awarded zero marks.

Syllabus for KEAM:
The candidates should prepare on the lines of the syllabus as studied in the qualifying degree exam i.e. intermediate/ 10+2 as per the books prescribed by the concerned Boards for this purpose.
