KEE Exam Pattern 2014 Details of Eligibility, Selection and Criteria for Examination

The Karunya University conducts every year the common entrance exam for inviting admissions to its different under graduate level courses including the engineering courses available in the university departments and colleges affiliated with it. The entrance exam is conducted in the paper pencil modes for all the candidates at the university campuses only. The candidates appearing in the Karunya University Entrance Exam may go through the complete details of the paper pattern and scheme of marking in the concerned examination from the information as given here below.

Name of Exam: Karunya University Entrance Exam (KUEE)

Conducting University: Karunya University

Courses of Admission: BE (Bachelor of Engineering)/ B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology)

Eligibility for Exam:

The candidates in order to avail admissions in the Bachelor of Technology/ Bachelor of Engineering courses should be at least Class 12th passed from any central /state Boards of India with a minimum of 60% marks obtained in the following subjects- Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics respectively.

The qualifying age of all the applicants should be not exceeding 21 years with effect from 1st July 2014.

Scheme of Examination:

There shall be an objective type paper having multiple choice based questions on the following five sections:

Section I: Mathematics (45 Questions)

Section II: Physics (15 Questions)

Section III: Chemistry (15 Questions)

Section IV: Christian Values/ Ethics (For Christian & Non Christian candidates): 10 Questions

Section V: General Aptitude (15 Questions)

Total Marks Allotted: 100

Total Number of Questions: 100 Questions

Duration of Exam: 150 Minutes /2 and ½ Hours

Marking Scheme:

The candidates will be given one mark for each question correctly attempted by them while there will be a deduction of 0.25 marks for every wrong attempts made by them.

The candidates obtaining high scores in the entrance exam shall get good colleges in the counseling which will be held subsequently after the results are announced for the entrance exam.
