The Karnataka Examinations Authority under the Government of Karnataka has invited applications in online modes from all the eligible candidates who wish to take admissions in the following courses of Karnataka State Educational Institutions- MBBS/ BDS, BAMS, BUMS, BNYS, BHMS, BE/ B.Tech, B.Arch, B.Sc. (Agriculture), B.Sc. (Forestry), B.Sc. (Sericulture), B.Sc. (Horticulture), B.Sc. (Agri Biotech), B.Pharma, B.V.Sc. & A.H. and Pharma-D respectively. The candidates will be short listed on the basis of CET (Common Entrance Test) 2015 scheduled to be conducted on the dates mentioned at various centres of examination in Karnataka.

Eligibility for Admissions & CET:
The applicants should have passed 2nd PUC/ 12th or any other equivalent examination passed with English as a compulsory subject studied and obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate of the three subjects –Physics, Chemistry and Biology respectively. Those applicants who wish to enroll themselves in the Architecture Programmes must appear and qualify the NATA conducted by Council of Architecture every year in the months of May.
Scheme of Karnataka CET 2015-
The Karnataka CET is a state level entrance exam having objective type multiple choice questions asked from the following main subjects of courses –
-Physics (60 Marks)
-Chemistry (60 Marks)
-Mathematics (60 Marks)
-Biology (60 Marks)
Total Marks: 240 Marks
Exam Duration: 1 Hour 25 Minutes/ 80 Minutes
The candidates will be provided one mark for each correct answer attempted by them. There will be no negative marking in the exam hence applicants can attempt as many questions as they like.
Schedule of Karnataka CET 2015-
Biology (10:30 am -11:50 am) and Mathematics (02:30 pm -03:50 pm): 29th April 2015
Physics (10:30 am -11:50 am) and Chemistry (02:30 pm -03:50 pm): 30th April 2015
Kannada Language Test –Only in Bangalore (11:30 am -11:50 am): 1st May 2015 [Only for Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga candidates]
Selection Process/ Criteria of Admission:
The applicants shall be selected on the basis of their merit/ rank obtained in the qualifying examination and entrance exam. This includes the marks secured in PCB subjects and CET respectively.

Application Fee:
The application fee of following specified amount should be paid through e challan from any branches of Central Bank or State Bank of Mysore or Indian bank or Syndicate Bank or any computerized post offices of India:
For Residents of Karnataka –Rs 650 (General and OBC) and Rs 500 (SC/ST Category –I)
For candidates residing outside Karnataka: Rs 750
For candidates residing outside India: Rs 5000
