ITBP Exam Pattern 2014 Details of Exam Question Eligibility Syllabus

The Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) announces the recruitment exam for the selection of all the eligible candidates in the post of Constable (Tradesman) respectively. The exam is conducted for all the eligible Indian Nationals who are at least High School/ ITI passed in the concerned trade as specified here below. The candidates will be required to appear and qualify in the written test, Physical Standard Test and other skill based tests as required for this purpose. Those candidates who are preparing for the concerned entrance exam should go through the detailed paper pattern and qualifying basis for the recruitment exam from the information as given here below.

Name of Exam: ITBP Constable Recruitment Exam

Conducting Authority: Indo Tibetan Border Police Force

Trades Offered:

Tailor; Cook; Water carrier; Cobbler; Barber; Gardener and Safai Karamchari respectively

Exam Pattern:

The exam for the recruitment to the Constable posts will be held in the objective modes having multiple choice based questions on the following main topics:

Analytical Aptitude

Basic Knowledge of English and Hindi

General Awareness and General Knowledge

Elementary mathematics and

Distinguishing Jumbled Pattern based questions respectively

Total Number of Questions: 50

Total Allotted Marks: 50

Qualifying Criteria:

The candidates who belong to the unreserved category should score at least 50% marks respectively in the concerned exam whereas for the reserved category candidates, the minimum percentage of marks should be 40% respectively for all the candidates in order to qualify in the concerned exam.

The candidates who qualify in the written exam shall be called for the Physical Standard Test which will be held subsequently after the written exam for all the candidates.

The weightage of marks will be as follows for all the entrance examinations:

Written Exam: 80%

Trade Test: 20%
