Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya Admission Form 2014 Details of Admission Process, Eligibility and Courses
The Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya has announced admissions for the eligible candidates in its different courses through the CET (Common Entrance Test) scheduled in the months of June/ July respectively. The candidates should read the details of admission from the official notification released online at the university website i.e. igau.edu.in. The applicants will be given admissions in the 15 subjects of the Faculty of Agriculture and 3 subjects of Faculty of Agricultural Engineering respectively through the Common Entrance Exam. The applicants interested and eligible to appear in the university entrance test should apply before 30th June 2014.

Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya Admission Forms:
The Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya Admission Forms can be downloaded from the university website at cgdemo.nic.in /igkvcetexam. The online application forms shall be made available online from 2nd June 2014 for all the candidates. The applicants will be required to pay the application fee through Demand Drafts of Rs 400 (Rs 100 for SC/ST candidates) before 30th June 2014. The candidates shall be admitted in the first semester (July 2014) for the academic session 2014-15.
Criteria of Admission:
For UG Courses:
1. B.Sc (Agriculture)
Selection: On the basis of merit obtained in the PAT (Pre Agricultural Test) as conducted by the Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board
2. B.Sc (Horticulture)
Selection: On the basis of merit obtained in the PAT (Pre Agricultural Test) as conducted by the Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board
3. B.Tech (Agricultural Engineering)
Selections: As per the PET (Pre Engineering Test) and the reservation criteria as specified for this purpose.
For PG Courses:
The admissions to all the Post Graduate Courses shall be done on the basis of the CET (Common Entrance Test) for graduates in agriculture and other allied disciplines.
The applicants should appear and qualify in the entrance exam scheduled to be held on the date as specified for this purpose. The applicants in order to appear in the Common Entrance Test should not be below 20 years of age brought into effect from 31st August of the concerned year of admission.

The candidates will be given admissions in the Doctoral Programmes of the university on the basis of the Common Entrance Test held separately for this purpose.
