The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Banaras Hindu University offers admissions under different courses including B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology), M.Tech (Master of Technology), M.Pharma (Master of Pharmacy) and PhD available in different streams of engineering. The institute is one of the IITs established in India as a premiere engineering institute. The students willing to take admissions in the institute should apply for the different programmes in the months of June/ July every year. The admissions to the current academic year have been already done. The candidates were required to apply by 23rd April 2014 for the IIT BHU Admission 2014-2015.

The candidates in order to take admissions in the under graduate courses must appear and qualify in the Joint Engineering Examination Main & Advance. The admissions to all the post graduate courses are done on the basis of marks obtained in the GATE /GPAT conducted for this purpose. 1) Log on to the website of concerned entrance exam – jeemain.nic.in/ jeeadvance.nic.in/ gate.iitk.ac.in.
2) Now open the active admit card downloading windows for the concerned entrance exam.
3) Enter your unique registration id and password respectively in the downloading window.
4) The candidates must print the admit cards downloaded online for carrying it on the examination day.
The applicants are advised to retain their admit cards of entrance examinations even after their exams are over as it will be used at the time of admission and counseling for verification purposes.
